Deborah Longmore Achieves Qualified Wedding Photographer Status – Now Certified in All Three Photography Categories
I’m absolutely over the moon to share some exciting news — I’ve officially received my Qualified Wedding Photographer status with the Guild of Professional Photographers! This means I am now qualified in all three major categories: Professional Photography, Newborn & Baby Photography, and Wedding Photography. It’s an incredible milestone, and I couldn’t be prouder.
So, what does “Qualified” actually mean?
According to the Guild of Photographers, a Qualified status represents a high standard of professional competence — it means that when you hire a photographer with this title, you’re working with someone whose work consistently pleases and exceeds client expectations. It’s a mark of trust and skill, and I’m honoured to be recognised as an ambassador of the Guild.
What Have I Achieved Qualifications In?
As many of you know, I’ve specialised in Newborn, Baby, and Child Photography for years and first gained Qualified status in that field back in 2017. Alongside my baby work, I also photograph several weddings each year. I wanted to ensure I was offering the same level of professional excellence to my wedding clients — and now I’m proud to say I’ve achieved my Wedding Photography Qualification (QGWP).
To receive this distinction, I submitted a carefully curated panel of images — seven from each of three different wedding commissions — that demonstrated consistency, creativity, and storytelling across different wedding environments.
This new status cements my commitment to providing beautifully crafted, heartfelt images — whether you’re booking me for your wedding day or a newborn session.

Thank you to all my lovely clients who have asked me to cover their special day. It has been an honour and a privilege such magical days with you.
