At Deborah Longmore Photography, I welcome you into my cosy Tamworth studio for your maternity session. Here, I focus entirely on you โ your strength, your beauty, and that incredible bump.
Together, weโll create elegant, meaningful portraits that celebrate this powerful chapter of your story.
When to Book Your Session
Maternity sessions work best from 28 weeks onwards, when your bump has that beautiful, round shape that photographs so perfectly.
During your session, Iโll capture your glow through a blend of natural and studio-style images. These are photographs youโll treasure forever โ timeless portraits that honour your journey into motherhood.
On the Day of Your Session
I shape the session around you.
If you love a more styled, posed look, I provide gowns and carefully chosen props, and Iโll guide you gently through each pose so you feel confident and comfortable.
Prefer something more relaxed? Many clients choose their own outfits โ jeans, shirts, soft fabrics โ paired with natural, effortless posing.
And if youโd like both styles, we can absolutely do that too.

After your maternity photoshoot, I will create your final gallery of beautifully edited images.
You will then be able to view your gallery and place your order of your chosen images.

The ยฃ100 session fee includes my time, expertise, and creativity during your session. Please note that images are not included in this fee. Image collection packages are priced separately and listed below
A minimum image collection package order of ยฃ179 is required per session in addition to the session fee. You can upgrade your image collection package at any time following the viewing of your images.

About the Maternity Photography Sessions
I am entirely led by your preferences. If you would like the more “posed” session, I have gowns and props. I will talk you through all the posing. Alternatively, some clients prefer their own clothes such as jeans and shirts coupled with more relaxed posing. You could do both!
Maternity photography sessions are best when you are near the end of your pregnancy, ideally from 28 weeks onwards. This is to ensure the bump is a lovely round shape. Allow me to capture your beautiful bloom through a combination of natural and studio style photographs. These will be memories you will treasure forever.

Maternity photography sessions are the one kind of session where mums-to-be feel very different. Your body has changed, and you might feel worried about how youโll look in the photos.
Please donโt worry about feeling self-conscious or how your body has changed.
With guided posing, flattering lighting, thoughtful props, and subtle editing, youโll look and feel like the beautiful mama you are
Many mums-to-be have never had a professional shoot and often feel nervous at first. However, every single one has told me it was a comfortable, amazing experience by the end. My job is to capture this special time and create beautiful images youโll treasure forever.

Your pregnancy is the perfect excuse for a pampering, to get dressed up, made up to look your absolute best! To feel like a goddess or a star in a movie. Every mother-to-be is welcome, of all shapes, sizes etc. Come and capture how amazing you are!
With numerous gowns and accessories to choose from you will love getting dressed up and feeling glamorous.
Studio or Location?
Iโve set my studio within a small courtyard in Tamworth Town Centre, giving you a quiet, private space away from the bustle. My studio is kept it warm, welcoming, and fully equipped so you enjoy a wonderful experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Also, a full length mirror is avaialble for you too! Location sessions are also available but these are weather and location permitted.

Maternity Photography Frequently Asked Questions:
When should I book my maternity photography session?
You can book your maternity session as soon as youโre ready.
Itโs recommended to book from 20 weeks pregnant.
This helps secure your preferred date, as I book up in advance.
Only a limited number of sessions are available each month.
Your maternity photography session will take place at around 28-37 weeks of pregnancy. However, with each pregnancy being unique, this timing is flexible.
What should I wear to my maternity photoshoot?
I have a collection of beautiful dresses and accessories for your session.
They help create a timeless feel in your images.
It is important that you are true to your own personal style and what you feel comfortable with. There is never any pressure.
We will have time for approx 3-4 dresses during the session. Please view our current maternity range here
Care will also be taken to pose you beautifully in a way that is tasteful and modest.
Please bring a selection of underwear in black, white and nude tones if you have them. This does help with certain dresses.

Your session is tailored to your needs and requirements and whilst some clients want to have nude photographs, you do not have to. Many clients opt for fully clothed, to fabric wraps too. It is always best to see how you feel on the day.
Can my partner and/or children be included?
Absolutely!
This is a special time for you all and a maternity photography session it is a great way to capture such a special family moment. This is such an exciting time, whether it be your first, second or third baby.
Is hair and make up included?
Hair and makeup services are not included in the session price. Due to back-to-back appointments, there is no time for hair or makeup to be done in the studio. Please arrive with your hair and makeup exactly as youโd like to be photographed. There will be time for small touch-ups to hair and makeup if needed and bring hairspray for any stray hairs, try to avoid high shine makeup products as these can make you appear shiny or over bright under the studio lights
Where is your Studio?
The studio is based in the heart of Tamworth Town Centre.
Of course, if you wish to choose to have your maternity photography session on location you can of course book this option
Will my images be kept private?
Absolutely! Privacy is taken seriously and your maternity images will not be used in any way without your PRIOR permission.
You may not wish me to share any images on social media. For most of my clients this is certainly the case. This will always be honoured as these are your images and memories of such a special time. Please dont be scared to get in front of the camera and embrace such an exciting time in your life!
Booking forms will be sent to you on booking which will ask you for your permission.
I have a specific look I want to achieve, can you do this?
Please let me know on booking the type of images you would like to create. Images from my own portfolio is preferred. I know many people like to look up ideas on Pinterest and whilst I am happy to use images as inspiration,
I will not directly copy other images and all work produced will be in keeping with my style and editing and some ideas will not be able to recreated. It is important that you look through my portfolio as to what is possible and that my style meets your expectations. Please do let me know before your session date so that the session can run as smoothly as possible on the day and if any items need to be purchased, if I have time to do so.
How long will it be until I receive my images?
Following your session, your images will then be edited and sent to you by way of an online gallery for you to choose your images. Editing can be between 2 – 4 weeks depending on the time of year and additional galleries.
Maternity Photography Gallery
Clients can view their full gallery of around 30โ40 images in colour and black and white. I carefully select and edit the best photos from the maternity session. Clients are then able to make their selection of their chosen images/package upgrades and wall art selections
