Where Your Session Happens
At Deborah Longmore Photography, I welcome you into my cosy Tamworth studio for your maternity session.
My studio is built with babies and parents in mind. Itβs warm, calm, and welcoming β the perfect space for you to relax while I create beautiful portraits of your little one.
Together, weβll create images that capture their growing personality.
When to Book Your Session
These sessions work perfectly for babies who can sit up unaided but havenβt started walking yet β a stage full of personality, curiosity, and those irresistible smiles.
When youβre ready to book your Older Baby Photoshoot, weβll plan the details together. Its often best to choosen a session time at a time of day when your baby feels happiest and most settled β often after a nap or a feed.
On the Day of Your Session
During your session, I bring the fun! Expect plenty of silly noises, games, and laughter as I capture your babyβs big bright eyes and joyful expressions.
A full range of props will be at hand to create stunning looks that show case their personaility.
Your baby is growing so quickly. Letβs capture this joyful stage before itβs gone.

After your photoshoot, I will create your final gallery of beautifully edited images.
We will then be able to view your gallery and place your order of your chosen images.

The session fee includes my time, expertise, and creativity during your session. Please note that images are not included in this fee. Image collection packages are priced separately and listed below
A minimum image collection package order of Β£179 is required per session in addition to the session fee. You can upgrade your image collection package at any time following the viewing of your images.

I am fully qualified with the Guild of Photographers and hold the status as a Craftsman in Newborn and Baby Photography with them and even tailored a whole panel of 20 images around babies aged between 6 and 12 months,
I love working with little ones of this age! They are fully in control of the session but it is perfect for capturing those cute funny faces and smiles that are unique to your baby.
Whether they are not yet sitting, crawling or toddling around, these sessions are the best!

This stageβwhen your little one can sit confidently, laugh freely, and interact with the worldβis such a joy to capture. My sitter sessions are relaxed, playful, and beautifully styled to reflect your babyβs unique personality. With years of experience and a warm, creative approach, Iβll create timeless images youβll treasure as they grow.
The term sitter refer to when baby can sit unaided and cannot yet crawl, however, these sessions can be perfect for any age
When is the best time for a baby & toddler photography session?
These baby photography sessions are ideal for babies up to 18 months and they are a great way to capture milestones. The best time for a baby session is when baby is sitting confidently and without support. The main reason for baby to be able to sit unaided and confidently is to allow us to use some props such as chairs or stools. For these images I always ask that a parent sits close to baby to ensure the are safe at all times.
Babies develop such wonderful personalities and traits as they grow. They are full of smiles and laughter. These sessions can be very quick and fast pasted to keep baby entertained and engaged and therefore hopefully a lot of fun.
What if my baby doesnt smile?
Whilst any parent wants beautiful smiley photos (and we will aim to get those), what your baby will do is be themselves! You will get those unique faces that depict them, and only them! I love seeing how little ones engage with me, and whether it is full beaming smiles, pulling faces or even a frown sometimes, that is their little character and something that should not be missed!!!
Im a great believer in capturing your child as they are! The choices are endless and its always fun creating something magical that reflects your baby.
What will baby wear?
I have a number of little outfits in a variety of colours that are perfect for babies between 5-12 months. If there is something you would like however please do let me know.
You do not have to use my outfits should you not want to and of course you are welcome to have the session and images as relaxed or as styled as you wish.
If you wish to incorporate a theme to your images this can be done also. Whether it be a little chef, little painter, little teddy bears picnic we can incorporate your theme into your session to make something truly unique for you and your little one.
