Creating Composites in Photoshop

Due to Covid-19, 2020 has been a very difficult year for us all.  As like many, I had to unfortunately close by business in March, and was not able to photograph and capture your special little ones first few days. To keep my creativity going, I decided to create some of my own digital backgrounds to use to create composites in Photoshop and decided to have a play with some existing client images I had.

I have now started incorporating some of these composite images into your sessions where they are requested.  If there is something special that you would like creating for you, a particular theme that means something to you or a colour choice then please let me know in advance of your session so that I can plan something unique for you.

I have enjoyed doing these so much and it is a great way to get such amazing images without the need to create fussy sets during your session which take up time shooting baby.  This means that baby can be minimally posed in either my support posie, or your baby can be placed in another prop and added to the digital background after your session giving you two very different images from the same pose.

Awarded Images

The following images are all composite images that I have entered into the Guild of Photographers monthly competition
