Wondering how it works when you book a photography session with me? Welcome to Deborah Longmore Photography, covering Tamworth, Birmingham and the wider Midlands — where timeless memories begin.
I specialise in capturing your journey from maternity through to newborn and baby milestones, transforming those fleeting moments into beautiful, high-quality imagery and stunning wall art to treasure for years to come.
Photographs hold the power to freeze time, and that’s why I pour my heart into every session — ensuring you receive not only exceptional images, but also the very best in client care, product quality and a warm, personal experience from start to finish.
Here’s exactly how it works, from booking through to receiving your finished gallery.
Step 1: Booking Your Session
It’s easy to get started!
It’s easy to get started. You can book your session directly via my online calendar, where all up-to-date availability is listed. Simply choose the session type that suits you and click “Book Now” on the Prices & Packages page.
Prefer a more personal touch? You’re very welcome to contact me directly via the contact page, or message me on Facebook or Instagram.
A non-refundable session fee of £100 is required to secure your booking. Image packages are additional and can be viewed in full on the Prices & Packages page.
Step 2: Preparing For Your Session
Once your date is confirmed, you’ll receive a welcome questionnaire to help tailor your session to your preferences — including colours, themes, props and any special requests.

Whether you’ve booked a newborn photography session, a maternity session, or a family photoshoot, your experience will be relaxed, personalised and professional from start to finish.
STEP 3 — Your Session Day
On the day of your session, you’ll arrive at my warm and welcoming Tamworth studio, where everything will already be set up and ready to go based on your preferences.
I’ll guide you through the entire session, making it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible — especially for new parents! There’s no need to worry about knowing what to do or how to pose, I’ll take care of all of that.
STEP 4 — Receiving Your Gallery
Around 1 to 2 weeks after your session (this can be 2 to 4 weeks during busier periods such as holidays), you’ll receive a private, password-protected online gallery of fully edited images — allowing you to choose your favourites from the comfort of your own home.
Most clients love this approach because it’s more convenient for busy families, it saves a second trip to the studio (especially helpful for clients travelling from further afield), and it gives you plenty of time to view and discuss your images at your own pace.
If you would prefer an in-person viewing instead, that’s absolutely fine too — just let me know and we can arrange this together.
STEP 5 — Receiving Your Products
Once you’ve placed your order, your prints, albums or wall art will be carefully prepared and made ready for you.
Prints can be posted if needed (a postage fee applies), though I always recommend collection where possible to avoid any risk of loss or damage in transit. Wall art must be collected in person due to its size and value.
