Award Winning Tamworth Newborn Photography
As many of you know, I’ve been a proud member of the Guild of Professional Photographers for nearly six years. The Guild is one of the UK’s most respected photography associations, representing professional photographers who are truly dedicated to their craft.
Every month, the Guild hosts the Image of the Month (IOM) competition, which sees thousands of entries from photographers across the country. Judged by an expert panel to international standards, these images are scored and awarded prestigious bars — Bronze, Silver, Gold, and, for the rare few, Platinum.
Here’s what these awards mean:
🌟 Platinum Bar – Exceptional, world-class imagery (awarded only to the very best).
🏆 Gold Bar – Distinctive and outstanding (very rare).
🥈 Silver Bar – Technically and artistically strong (hard to achieve).
🥉 Bronze Bar – High-quality, professional standard (a real achievement).
✔️ Classified – Solid images, not quite award-winning but still competition-ready.
This year, I entered 84 images into the competition — and I’m incredibly proud to share the results:

Being recognised at this level truly means the world to me. It’s a reflection of my dedication to offering Award Winning Tamworth Newborn Photography and creating timeless, emotive images for every family who steps into my studio.
To be considered among the best newborn photographers in the UK by such a respected organisation is both humbling and inspiring — and it pushes me to continue capturing beautiful, heartfelt moments for my clients.
